going digital

for as long as i can remember, i've been a paper and pencil planner.  i still have desk calendar's from 5th grade that say "slumber party at kathy's".  i've always been one to be sentimental so it's an innate quality in me to document everyday things, even the most mundane.  when college started i shunned all the palm pilots and stuck with my uci anteater planner.  above is a photo of my organizers for the last 6 or 7 years.  at my parents house, you'll find a box in my old bedroom with my planners from the years before that.  i even have letters from friends that go back to the 4th grade with all sorts of acronyms like "lylas" and "swak".  i guess i'm a packrat, huh?  at least i'm hoarding memories and not food or animals!  there is just something about being able to reminisce old memories that you wanna make sure you never forget.  but i'm gonna embrace technology and enter the 21st century and attempt to step into the blogosphere now...i'm not giving up my paper and pen planner, but here's my little "digital" place to begin recording both the significant and insignificant little things that i want to someday remember.
